| We
undertake the construction of suspended tile ceilings both as
stand alone projects or as part of overall contracts with other
building works. |

Wavebar
barriers
Wavebar barriers are dense, flexible curtains
that deflect noise.
- More
flexible, practical and economical than full height partitions.
- Improves
confidentiality by virtually eliminating noise form adjacent
rooms. Provides privacy and peace of mind in directors offices,
board rooms, consultation rooms, computer rooms, hallways,
nurseries, etc.
- Easy
to install, ideal for refurbishments. Simply suspend from
slab to ceiling tiles. No additional framework is necessary.
- Proven
project history. WAVEBAR has been utilised in
office fit-outs and refurbishments for more than 3 deacades
as a safe and reliable way to reduce room-to-room noise transmitted
via common ceiling.

Improve Workplace Effectiveness |
Sound
absorbtion is a primary design criterion for ceiling tiles.
A ceiling tiles ability to absorb sound is measured in three
ways.
|
NRC - Noise Reduction Coefficient
Measures the average percentage of noise a material absorbs
at four frequencies. This key measure of absorbtion of generla
office noise is expressed as asinlge value percentage, with
a genreally acceptable maximum value of 0.70 and a preferred
value of 0.75 to 1.00 in open pan office.

|
AC - Articulation Class
Rates a ceilings suitablity for achieving normal privacy in
open office spaces by absorbing noise reflected at an angleof
the ceiling inot adjacnet cubicles. The angles simulate the
movement of reflected sound waves passing over the office paretitions
in the frequencies criticle to speech intelligibility and conversational
privacy. The generally accepted AC rating for normal privacy
in open plan is minimum 170, with 190 or 210 preffered. AC is
the primary measure of acoustics in the open plan.

|
CAC - Ceiling Attenuation Class
Rates a structures efficiency as a barrier of airborne sound
at 16 speech frequencies. It is an especially significant
measure in providing acoustic proivacy between adjacnet work
areas, where sound can penetrate plenum spaces and carry to
other spaces. CAC is stated as aminimum value; CAC minimum
25 is acceptable in open plan offices, while a rating minimum
35 or 40 is preffered for closed offices.
